'07 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

Available in three popular Chevy variants, the LS, LT and SS trims, the 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is the successor of a long line of Monte Carlo’s that have carved a niche in the mid-size segment over the last decade.

The series is an excellent value buy, and is fun to drive. The base models feature a V-6 3.5 liter engine that produces 211 horsepower, while the LT and SS models can be upgraded to a more powerful 5.3 liter V-8 303 horsepower engine for more punch.

For better fuel efficiency, the SS models come with the ability to shut down 4 cylinders for the V-8 engine.

A more robust front-end design gives a stronger foundation and helps reduce vibration, noise and harshness levels. The 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo features a body color mesh on two narrow air intake ducts in the front grille, with a prominent bow-tie in the front.

2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo

The 2007 Chevrolet Monte Carlo is the last in its generation for the near 40-year-old muscle car produced by GM since 1970.

Coming in three variants as a LS, LT and SS. The LS and LT come with a 3.5L V-6 producing 211HP and the SS comes with a Supercharged 5.3L V-8 engine with 303HP. Power is put to the front-wheels via the original 4-speed automatic transmission on 110” wheel-base tires.

A Flex-Fuel 3.5L engine was offered allowing drivers the option of running alternative fuels besides traditional gasoline in the engine. Both LS and LT models come with a 31MPG EPA-estimated highway gas mileage while the performance-tuned 2007 Chevrolet Malibu boasts an EPA gas mileage of 27MPG.

Leaving behind a legacy, the Chevrolet Monte Carlo will drive off into the sunset for the last time this year.
